March 2006 - The design of the site and gathering of photographs begins.

July 2006 - CraigWasselPhotoArt.com launches


August 2006 - "Windmill Wonder" was on display at the "Art in Your Eye" Festival (link) on August 12th and 13th in Batavia, Illinois.

September 2006 - Matted/framed prints are now available through The Proud Fox Gallery in Geneva, Illinois

February 2007 - This website was featured and reviewed in "Web Profiles" in the February 2007 issue of Shutterbug Magazine.

March 2007 - A framed "Twilight and the Bean" from the "Bright Lights - Big City" gallery auctioned at an Avon fundraiser for Breast Cancer on March 17th for $250.00. The full amount of the sale went to this great cause. More information about Avon's Walk for Breast Cancer can be found by clicking here (link).

June 2007 - The portrait and event photography section (link) of the website opens.

July 2007 - Happy Birthday !! The website celebrates its first birthday. In one year it has grown from a simple little HTML site with a handful of galleries into a Flash and Java based website with two major sections and nearly 30 interactive galleries.

August 2007 - Craig has been invited back to display photography at the "Art in Your Eye" Festival (link) on August 11th and 12th in Batavia, Illinois. "Wintergarden" (link) from the Absolut Black & White gallery and "Luminous Lillies" (link) will be on display, and will also be available for purchase.

August 2007 - "Wintergarden" (link) earned an Honorable Mention at the Art in Your Eye Festival in Batavia, Illinois (link).

October 2007 - Craig is pleased to announce that Henry Whorton Art Consulting of Chicago (link) has reviewed his work and agreed to represent his fine art photography.

February 2008 - Craig is pleased to announce that Corporate ArtWorks (link) of Arlington Heights, Illinois is a new representative for his fine art photography.

April 2008 - KDI Interior Design (link) selected two of Craig's photographs of Chicago architectural landmarks for permanent display in their corporate offices. The stretch-mounted canvas prints measure 60" wide by 40" tall each.

May 2008 - Delnor Hospital (link) of Geneva, Illinois has selected 48 of Craig's photographs for their new interior signage. The signage is part of Delnor's expansion and renovation project based on "Plain Tree" design that focuses on a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for patient healing.

June 2008 - Delnor Hospital Auxililary (link) of Geneva, Illinois has selected selected a commissioned photograph of the Fabyan Villa Lighthouse on the Fox River. Thanks go out to the Hospital and to Corporate ArtWorks (link) for supporting Craig's photography and a local artist.

July 2008 - Happy Birthday !! The website celebrates its 2nd birthday this month.

August 2008 - Craig has been invited back to display photography at the "Art in Your Eye" Festival (link) on August 9th and 10th in Batavia, Illinois. Selections from his landscape and botanical photography will be on display.

August 2008 - Craig has been accepted into the Batavia Artists' Guild (link). Many thanks to the Guild for their acceptance and support.

September 2008 - The Malone family of Geneva, Illinois, has selected a commissioned photograph by Craig taken of the Geneva Country Clubs 9th hole. The photograph will be placed in Delnor Hospital in recognition of Delores Malone's contributions to the hospital. Special thanks go out to the Malone family for their trust, to Corporate ArtWorks for sponsoring the commission and for their continued support of Craig' photography.


February 2009 - The commentary section reaches 30 in number.

March 2009 - The fourth major re-design of the site in as many years launches.
